The Farm at Natirar is proud to be awarded its new classification as "Certified Naturally Grown".  Certified Naturally Grown is a grassroots accreditation alternative to the USDA's National Organic Program and is meant primarily for small farmers distributing through local channels.  Such an alternative was necessary since the National Organic Program was implemented in 2002, as farmers that proudly referred to themselves as "organic" for decades were no longer allowed to do so unless they became "certified" as such by a USDA sanctioned agency.  Read more at the website for Certified Naturally Grown!
